Sketch Card of the Day- Stinkor!

Stinkor Sketch Card by Taylor Lymbery
Today's deviation is Stinkor! Most of my friends that know of Stinkor, don't hold him in as high of regard as I do. You see, I REALLY like this character. He was one that I sought after as a kid, but never could find. I wasn't able to get one till years later and his evil stench of patchouli oil is completely worn off leaving only the stench of play-doh. (I'm guessing he wasn't brought out into the world a lot and lived in the dark forgotten space of the toy box.) I like this character for a couple of reasons. First, Stinkor is the perfect example of reused parts from other characters in the line. He uses the body of Mer-man, the armor of Mekaneck and the shield from Castle Grayskull, and yet we get a completely new toy! Second, Stinkor is the focus character of my absolute favorite 200X episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, "The Sweet Smell of Victory", which is the funniest episode from that series in my opinion! Good stuff...well smelly, but good. So, now that you see how much I like this Skunk man evil warrior of odious odors, you can bet that I will try my hand at getting a Stinkor action figure in the Classics line this month. I just have to keep my fingers crossed and my breath held... Well maybe just my fingers crossed. You can also see this sketch card here.

Now, I'm going to have a bunch of these sketch cards available at the Dallas Comic Con. I'll be selling them for $10. I am also opening commissions of sketch cards. They will also be $10 + shipping and handling which will be $6 in the continental United States of America. I'll have to get a quote for any territories outside of that. I will also open up my colored page line drawings for commissions. Same price as the sketch cards, but I'll have to check on the shipping (due to the difference in size). If you want to see what I mean by colored sheet drawing, go here. If you want a sketch card, send me an e-mail to taylorlymbery@gmail.com. Name your character and we will go from there.

The Convention will be May 19th-20th. It will be at the Irving Convention Center that is located at 500 W Las Colinas Blvd. , Irving, TX. Tickets for Saturday will be $25.00 for 11:00am to 7:00pm, and tickets for Sunday will be $20.00 for 11:00am to 4:00pm. If you happen to go to the Convention, stop by and say hi to Rob and I.
