Sometimes, a new start on a wasted internet storefront is just what you need to get product out. So, for all of you wereworm lovers and lovers of my work, I have toys, and art pieces for sale in my Storenvy shop. I'll continue to add awesome pieces to the shop over the summer. If you see something you like, don't hesitate to purchase it. Many of these pieces will be limited.

Just to let you know all know, I am taking commissions. If you would like to commission me for original artwork, head over to the commissions tab in store to see how.

I have posted some new shirt designs in my Cafepress store. Head over to my Cafepress store and get a shirt or a couple!

Jeff", then it's time I let you know! Jeff and I are on the show where we talk about toys! (Go figure, I mean Go action figure!) Seems simple enough. We pick out a toy line to discuss in each show. We share our childhood memories, our favorite five, and talk about the one toy in the line that got away. Jeff talks about how he cherished his toys and I talk about how they ended up in the garden! The other show is The pilot episode, where Jeff and Cory break down the Pilot Episode in TV series. The shows are great! If you are interested in what we got, go to Marvindogmedia.com  and give us a listen. You can subscribe to the shows on itunes and get up to date info on upcoming shows on facebook:

April show- "Look at all this SPACE: art by Barnlord" at Freaks and Geeks in Denton, Texas!

The show is on! I just finished building my show at Freaks and Geeks in Denton, Texas. I have a whole hallway, and I didn't waste any design space. I am calling the show, "Look at all this SPACE: art by Barnlord". It will feature custom toys, prints and paintings by me. There will be a good range in prices for the items I will have. I'll also be rolling out the elusive Abducto-Eyes table top toys from my last year's instagram feed. This is the first time they have been available to the public. I'll have Wereworms, Cheesecake Head Charlie pins, Pabst Wrestler Beasts, and more!  I'm super excited about this show! Saturday, April the 4th, 2015, I'll be up at Freaks and Geeks from 8:00pm-12:00pm for an acknowledged show opening. I'll have my paint markers in hand, so if you bring me a blank vinyl toy, I'll customize it for $5.00. That's a heck of a deal! Seriously, don't miss out. Here's some pictures of the hallway.

Be sure to go check out Freaks and Geeks facebook page. Go get your blank vinyl toys and I will see you all at the shop on Saturday!

Recently, I was being filmed for a convention documentary called, Unconventional. You can see it here. While you are at it, you should check out Johnathan Paul's other video work here.

Custom Toy of the Day- The Mini-A Tree!

Recently, I was asked to help my community out with the Anime Convention, Mini A-Kon, here in Denton Texas by making a piece to auction off to raise money for "The Love of Art: Sharing with Seniors" non-profit program.  You can learn more about this program here: www.forloveandart.org and learn how to bring the art experience to those with limited mobility! I have been wanting to make a tree piece for a long time! I got a bit of a chance to do it when I made the custom toy, "The Old Barn's Foundation", but it was not enough! Approaching this custom I was hesitant about making just a tree. I needed a design choice that would keep it compact. My only logical solution was a bonsai tree. In the past, I used to grow and prune bonsai trees for one of my many hobbies. Then a cat ate them... Working on this piece reminded me of the joy of caring for a small designer tree. I might just get back into my old beloved hobby. This piece will be auctioned off by the Stan Lee Foundation Saturday, February 28th at the Mini A-Kon, located at the Denton Civic Center in Denton, Texas. If you want to try your hand at owning this piece, you'll need to be there. If you want to see this in person, you'll have to be there. If you want a fun experience, you'll want to be there. And if you are there, find me. Bring me a blank toy, and I'll do a little doodle on it with my assortment of paint markers! There are also more pictures of this piece below the important messages below.

Production Plush Toy- The Wereworm Jeff!

I'm still not sure what I was thinking when I first started buying material for this one. I'm not sure what was going through my head, but I am glad that I followed my instincts! This toy plush here is a Wereworm! More importantly, it is Jeff, the Wereworm! And yes, for all of the Talking Toys with Taylor and Jeff podcast fans, this toy was named after my best bud even though it looks nothing like him! This toy is a stuffed plush with a possible wire frame and hand painted plastic face and stinger. He sports glow-in-the-dark stripes and a bright fuzzy body. I already have another Wereworm face and stinger sculpted, so expect another one of these toys to be on its way! The toy pictured is an actual production piece. If you'd like to pre-purchase one, send me an e-mailThere are also more pictures of this piece below the important messages below.

I have been asked to help my amazing local community of Denton, Texas with theirMini A-Kon on February 28th, 2015. I'll be making a piece to auction there and doing a live sketch session there to add another piece for auction later that day. The money raised will go to the charity, "For the Love of Art": an art group helping the elderly. If you are in the area, stop by and say, "Hi"!
